The featured dancer was Juan del Valle from San francisco but he was the only non-local.

Yeah I know him, I played for him a few times. He was a guest out here in DC a few times too. If he is still around, tell him Ricardo from DC said Hola.

I hired a certain dancer for a gig. Before I even met him, he wanted to know who my agent was so he could solicit work from him. I told him that wasn't going to happen. He didn't make the one rehearsal for the gig, but called to say his car broke down. Couldn't understand why we didn't stop the rehearsal and come get him. I replaced him and he got angry saying I owed him a cancellation fee. I laughed. Punk.

Cool story, but what does it have to do with what Romerito said? Do you mean Juan del Valle?

Well, his initials were JdV............................................the gig itself was cool. A corporate, We(four dancers, 2 singers, two guitarists) opened for Willie and Lobo-these violin/guitar rumba guys who were pretty cool guys. They have it figured out-they do corporates with two guys, travel all over, and make bank. Anyway, the client was so happy with the show, they asked us to go to Germany to repeat it. I told the agent to get some people from spain fer crying out loud!

Steve Mullins is a big Flamenco guy here in the Boulder area. In fact, he's having a show tonight at the D-Note in Arvada. A couple dancers and percusionist, at least him on the guitar. I think they are always fun.

I lied, it's tomorrow. Sorry about that.

Yeah, he is quite the fusion/melting pot kinda musician.

Where did you see him, Small Circle? I was there if so.

Another person you should look for, if you can find him playing anywhere ever (and if you do, let me know) is Miguel Espinoza. From what I recall he kicks ass, and from I've heard, my memory is correct about that.
