La Tati plays Hackney Empire.

Here we have a gathering of the fiestiest flamencos on the circuit, Flamenco Express, with the amazing coup of somehow booking the incredible legend of the flamenco scene for the past 30 years, La Tati, and putting her in proper British Venues at a sensible price.
What a leader this Tati is. One of the key artists who led flamenco from the Franco cage to the world stage.

And to bring this star to the heart of the East End, to Marie Lloyd's Hackney Empire, no less, is totally apt. Not to mention the fact that the Empire is simply the funkiest venue in town, where you don't need binoculars or an extra mortgage for a start.

Also returning to his London audience after a busy period travelling the world is none other than Manuel de la Malena. And the Queen of Jerez, Ana de los Reyes, AND one of the hot generation of Jerez guitarists, Jesus Alvarez...

This should be the Autumn's highlight for sincere lovers of all dance and music, not just flamenco aficionados.
