NEW POLL- Which technique is most im...

O.k after this, no more polls from me for a while, its a real novelty for me atm But this one should be interesting. Which technique do you think is most important? Or which one is your favourite or mostly used. Theres only ten options you cant list in a poll, i probably left some out, but you can write it down in the thread instead. Geez...there a **** load of r/h techniqes to learn in flamenco. Im leaning towards thumb and arpegios.

I think the most important technique in flamenco guitar is the left foot no foot no compas no flamenco, comprende?

...at least thats what my mentor keeps tellin me...

ofcourse i rekon they are all important but if u had to pick

I think Rasqueado and Arpeggio are the most usefull (practical) ones because between them they cover about 85 % of almost any piece.

but the most most important one is developing good listening skills, that covers everything from compas to feel etc.

I agree with florian on the importance of Rasqueado but i would also add Picado, and triplets, both teqniques that i am strugling with at present to sound good and authentic to my ears

If you dont wanna be a rookie. You have to get all technics working good. All have the same importance. Its like asking what is more important, breathing or eating.no?

Rasgueado. You can be a flamenco guitarist professionally accompanying cante and baile, with ONLY this technique.

i would agree all r important but i could easily argue breathing is more important than eating. u can survive for well over 40 days without food(if u drink water) but would probably only survive about 2 minutes without breathing

As people have said here before, the most important technique is your study technique (or lack of) all the other techniques sort of depends on that.

I'm guessing you edited out Juan Martin and opted for Ottmar... in the interest of brevity and all Well done, well done!
