does anyone have a printable version of Mediterrean Sundance or PUnta Umbria, (Paco de Lucia) when I try and print it off guitar pro I get a numeric mess. thanks
I've yet to see a transcription of Mediterranean Sundance that is much use. There's an ASCII text tab on the net which does a good job of Al Di Meolas part, but sadly no Paco
I'm thinking of doing this number myself - I've worked most of it out and obviously a lot is just improvised anyway. Paco uses quite a few of the same licks in all his improv. rumba solos - Rio Ancho, Entre Dos Aguas and Med Sundance etc
Anyway, sorry I couldn't be much help, but if you are having trouble working out a certain bit, let me know and I'll see if I can help.
I have Punta Umbria, only in musical notation....... I do not know if it is very useful then for you, but if you want it,you can email me. I send it to you pc.vandortmondt@quicknet.nl greetings, Peter
here is a link for med sundance in guitar pro. I think it is probably pretty good, I just can't print it. http://www.iespana.es/flamenco/partituras%20de%20famosos.htm I'm familiar with the version you are talking about and I think this one is better. And sadly no, notation does me little good thanks.
