Hi all. Does anyone have anything from Diego del Gastor? I've been in love with his style and playing for the longest time, so I thought it was time I learnt to play him. My email is bineshh@gmail.com
Will return the favour in kind! I have 2-3 gigs of flamenco stuff.
110. is cheap if you really want to learn the falsetas. Those falsetas were handed down face to face. Can you imagine the time and effort involved to compile that material? Trip to Spain, room to stay, meals, time, etc. Then you transcribe it all? If you got a lesson from Diego, you'd be lucky to pick up a couple of falsetas. Of course, that option is not available. So, you could go to his recordings and transcribe them yourself, if your up to it. Oh, right, not many recordings out there.............Get real 110. is a gift.
