I'm a guitarist who practiced since 15 years. I was always interested in the acoustic "side" of the guitar. I also play saxophone but just since 4 years.
I sold all my electric guitars. I am decided well to dedicate myself that in the acoustic guitar. I inquire for some time about the choice of quality flamenca guitar.
I found several possible choices but not many references on the builders.
I want to remain in one moderate prices seen that I am not professional. I'm talking about a price between 3500-2000 $ (It is already very high as price).
I was thinking about (2000 $):
- Alhambra 10Fc ? - Pavan Flamenca negra ?
I was thinking about (Luthery)
- Lucio NUNEZ (Flamenca blanca ENGELMANN top, spanish cypress back and sides, african ebony fingerboard,SLOANE tuner with TKL case for 2500 $ )
-Francisco NAVARRO (Flamenca Negra with Engelmann top, cocobolo back and sides, african ebony fingerboard, SLOANE Tuner, spanish cedar neck, with case and shipping : 2800$)
=> Were already able to you to try these instruments? What is the general quality? The finish? The sound ? Reliability ?
There's also the guitars from Mr ELIASSON (I think that everybody knows about what I speak).
Thanks for yours answers !

I don't know the brands you mentioned. I know about Elliasson's guitars. He posted here a lot. But he seems to be gone. Doesn't reply my mails either, though I'm on his waitinglist.
he's not the only one....... belgium is rising on the forum.....:))
don't know anything about the guitars you mentioned although I think in that price range you better not buy the alambra, just a thought but I could be wrong. the best way is to test the one's you mentioned en buy the one you feel best with without looking at a name....
Yours guitars seem to be well-constructed. I prefer to turn to a guitar elements of which I can choose. It has been years since I bought nothing more and I thus want a guitar create to measure. Please, I ask you: be not hurt!
Here's sample of Mr NAVARRO flamenca negra (cocobolo sides and back) and another picture with marquetry rosette :
