RE: Far out Juan Manuel leons Alegri... (in reply to Florian)
I just got the album a few days ago... I'm listening to the alegria as i write this and i'm kinda liking it. Still for some reason the whole CD seems just a little weird in some way. The music is nice, but i just can't get in to it. You know what I mean? I also got Miguel Angel Cortés's CD and i'm enjoying it much more because it's just more easy to listen. Jose Manuel Leon's CD has a million different new ideas but it seems to lack the thread that holds them all together. I liked his stuff on "La nueva escuela..." but this, to me, is a little over the top.
Just my oppinion. But hey! Others may like it and and i hope they will!
