White pouder on Paco's guitar

I am sure you guys have realized that paco hides something on the side of his guitar for his right hand fingers. (I assume to keep them dry from swet). Do you know what is that white pouder? See the picture below!

I believe it's Vaseline. I know a guy here who keeps a little container of Carmex handy and puts it on his fingers.

Although you can just rub your finger on your nose and pick up a little oil there too.

Yes, it´s vaseline to get the finger tips more slidy.

Yes its vaseline. Some of my friends also used it in past. But if you use it your strings get bad much faster. So its onla good idea for gigs or its ok if you have enough money to change the strings a bit more often than usual.

Actually, I use my forehead and I was surprised when I once saw Amigo doing the same. And it's no joke.

I was standing next to El Niño Jero one time before he went up to play. He was eating fried fish and I notice that when he finished he kind of rubbed the oil around on his right hand fingers.
