HuH Thats crazy... Its my most liked guitarmaker bat thats crazy... 25.000 for this guitar? and he puts the guitar on a thin manton on the grass. Maybe there are stones under it or its wet. For 25.000 he should do some more action to present the guitar, no?
Hey I know a person who could be interesed. Hes a money-sack, loves flamenco and also has a 10.000 conde. But this is maybe too much. Why is it so extreme expensive? I cant explain the price..

The guy selling it isn't crazy. However, the the guy who buys it .......? Hell, for that money you could buy 12 fine guitars from Anders. The sad part is that whomever buys it probably will never even play it. I've never been abel to understand the collector's mentality.

i even react to 5000-9000 dollars. Some guitars cost so much not even Gerardo, vicente,Tomatito or Moraito could get them. Paco de lucia would probably get it for free

It's even been patched up (badly) on the bottom where the pick up was. 'Manuel' becomes 'Manolo' after the first paragraph, but that might be an 'in thing' close pal diminutive, I don't know, just sounds odd.

The seller is from Austin, Texas...
Sometimes gets his words a bit mixed up...
Hmmm..

I should think it may be a "done deal" by about now..

cheers

It is. For example, Anders is Andy to me we go way back. Right Andy?

I don't know the guy personally but he comes to my town to play and he is pretty damn good. A standup guy. I don't think he is trying to "bamboozle" anybody. Just trying to "capitolize" on a well respected name and make a little bread doing it. Much like some dealers. Not me of course

Teye does play DeVoe's almost exclusively. I believe his stage guitar is fitted with a B-band. I personally hate electrified acoustics. They are acoustics for Pete's sake! I especially hate cutaways. If you want an electrified cutaway, buy a freakin' Ibanez. But that's another story.

I would think that if you want a reliable and consistant sound solution for performing, and you can't count count on the places you perform to have everything just right, and you don't got no roadies, you have to have this type of solution, no?

Lugging a micstand around everywhere and constantly worrying about feedback and volume issues may change your mind if you do it several times a week. But maybe not, too...

I completelly agree with Exitao and Miguel. Those of us who play in different venues from outdoor places to clubs and don't have soundman behind know, that pickups are the only good solution. Either you like it or not. Especialy if you have band around you, with bass and percussion,....

You got a good point there Mike. If I were to use electronic's, I think I'd prefer a Fishman over the B-band. It seems like you have more control but I don't know since I've never used either. I like the B-band because you don't need to remove so much wood but a Fishman seems like it would give you more options.

It's never going to sound as good as a mic, but it sure is handy. And for playing in groups, you get more volume than you would get with a mic. I think it's perfectly OK for rumba-type stuff. If I were to accompany, I think you need the mic sound.

I have always used Fishman's because they are just simple and common. The Cordoba I have now has one of those blend systems and they work quite well. Treble, Bass, Mid, Notch, Frequency, Balance. Oh, and volume. The volume control is very handy, too.

Fishman problend, IS a microphone. The thing is it is inside the guitar, so a little EQ is needed to get as natural sound as an external mic, but honestly you have to do EQ with external mics too. The advantage of having the mic on board is, no stand, feedback control, volume control, EQ, etc, all from your playing position. The piezo helps when you need to play REALLY loud, but I get away with using almost all mic in most situations.

Ricardo, wow, you use the onboard mic for dance accompaniment too?
