Manuel Granados

I bought one of his instructional books and CD (Number 4) about a year ago and for whatever reason put it aside until recently. Now that I've been listening to it I'm pretty impressed with the way this guy plays. He plays in a traditional style, but does some deceptively complicated stuff. In other words it sounds easy until you try to play it . I bought it because he goes into some cante accompaniment with guitar and voice, guitar only, and voice only.

Has anybody bought any of his other books and CDs? If so what 's your opinion of them?

Phil

i think they´re ok. They ARE sometimes very complex. and i think he moves forward a bit to fast if you were a beginner.

I miss Tarantas in vol 4 though. would love to accompany that.

I have his book ;
https://www.flamenco-world.com/tienda/shop.php?&vshopferca=f78e1c78e9e639b44dffc64a0c9c5794&op_shop=show&id_prod=2374&id_cat=
it's very good with lot's of tecnical exercises and a few of his compositions at the end of CD.In my opinion it is not for beginner, cause you have to know flamenco tehnics and then you can improve them with his book.

pozdrav
