A hard life, but

A hard life but the best way to learn flamenco.

I came to flamenco when I was in my '60's
and so have a lot of catching up to do.

Good to see so many old flamenco films.

Interesting as I’m in that area right now. It’s 1am here and I can hear people singing outside. I’m staying in a home built in the side of the mountain and it has a cave bedroom downstairs. Wish I’d known I’d have to haul my stuff up fifty ancient stone stairs and down a narrow block when I booked the place. Incredible view of the Alhambra though and flamenco tablaos are right down the block. Also getting eaten every night by hungry mosquitoes. It’s a long way down the hill and back to a store and I’ll admit I’m ready after a week here to move to a nice hotel. At 67 I feel no guilt about desiring some comfort.

I will be there next month. I know the area you’re talking about.
