Picado breakthrough but minor problem

I am proud to say that today I performed 125 bpm - 16th notes that too for a very long and difficult scale run.

However the wrist muscle is burning hot and there's a slight twitch. I play with almost no tension whatsoever , why is this happening?
In every case of reading about focal dystonia , I've read about that happening due to picado. So I want to be cautious.

In addition to tension (you claim you don't have any) and FD (you don't have that yet either) when you introduce some new technique or some new speed with the old technique, your body needs to get used to it. Practicing a lot can result in various repetitive strain injuries (RSI), so it would be good to focus on other aspects of playing for a couple days then come back to the picado and see how it is doing. Even PDL would need to warm up every live show by saving the fast picado for controlled speed bursts as in his Rondeña or Minera, then some medium tempo buleria that does not have much picado, and finally he is warmed up for La Barrosa that had the top speed runs. So warm up your sessions with at least three medium speed pieces before going after the picado stuff.

EDIT:since I have your attention, last week you asked about cante involvement in instrumental falsetas and I walked through your example, then crickets. Just curious if it was insightful, confusing, or did you just miss it altogether? It was a good question IMO.

No , it was very insightful. I was still processing the reply you made and then I forgot to make the reply. Sorry, I should have definitely done that.
