Cordoba Gk Studio Vs Katoh MCDE115SEQ CW

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking at getting a new guitar for gigging,
Currently using a Antonio Morales Lopez classical with 'no cutaway' and a Sm57 for live and its far from ideal,
so what I'm looking for is something with a cut away and a built in pickup,
my budget is $1000 AUD but I can increase it if needed

at the moment there are 2 guitars that are on discount that fit what im after, the 'Cordoba Gk Studio' RRP $1449 but i can get it for $1000 and the 'Katoh MCDE115SEQ CW' RRP $1499 and i can get it for $1000. i equally enjoyed playing both of these in store.
I also tried the 'Yamaha NCX3' thats $1260 but didn't enjoy it as much,

it would be great to hear your opinions on these guitars and what you all would recommend.

I have experience with the Cordoba GK Studio but I see your post is a month old.
If you are still interested, I can give you a detailed report on some things I had to adjust.
The short answer is I really like my GK Studio. It has a nice sound acoustically and once I managed to get the strings balanced on the pickup, it sounds great amplified

Also acknowledging that this post is a month old... I too have a GK Studio Negra. It was my first dip into a classical guitar and I got it specifically because of the cutaway and the price (~$700 USD). I have never plugged it into an amp, however, and the built in tuner is mostly accurate.

What I can say is that putting the correct strings on the guitar brought it to life. I use Knobloch CX Actives 500ADC. It was an entirely different guitar - in the best kind of way. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy owning this guitar and it has served me well for over 8 years.

At the end of the day, it always comes down to the simple questions:
1. Do you enjoy playing it
2. Does it sound good to you
3. Does it make you excited to play more
