summer flamenco course in andalucia
Hey all.
Trying to work out my summer holidays and wanna visit Andlaucia at some point. Would think to do gerardos curso in sanlucar but kinda clashes with some other life stuff.
Anyone know of any other decent courses like this? I know theres jose manuel leons in.....tarifa?
any others or other ideas for a study holiday? perhaps some course in jerez or something?

Cool thanks. Will take a look.
I was only aware of the Paco serrano one. Seems kinda expensive and marketed towards novice flamencos. I could be wrong. But don't think I'll be doing that one

I haven't been to Spain in over 30 years. I've wanted to go to Gerardo's course for years and signed up a few years ago but got shut down by Covid. Also, the summer is my busiest time at work, so it's been difficult for me to get away then.
I do work for a local University and most of it is in the summer. I've had this account for 17 years and ironically it bids today for the work for the next five years. I'll either be done with them, or have a bunch more work this summer and beyond. The October class won't be an issue for me.
At this point the cost is secondary, as I'm getting older. I'm going to meet the wife in Portugal after the class and hope to maybe surf a bit a have a look around.
I'm also a Paco Serrano fan. I've listened to his last record a bunch. So yeah, I'm excited. They are going to focus on solea, and have a singer and dancer there. I'm more excited about just being there and soaking it up.
