RE: [Audio] Home recordings of Paco ... (in reply to Filip)

Great find! I feel, based on the first video where he talks a lot to introduce the zapateado, that both his voice and guitar pitch and tone are very high, suggesting the tape is running very fast (ie recorded on a device that was running slow to capture). Not that that takes away anything, but the speed was probably much slower in reality. Both videos are great material and you hear paco make mistakes, stop start like any of us mortals would have to. AT 7 min in the first video you see Paco with an Arcangel or Barbero guitar, very rare shot. IN the second video, there are two bulerias falsetas that I teach in the Paco tutorial series (I think first and second tutorials I made), I would say they grabbed this recording in 71 or 72, as the album Duende comes out that year, and he was still working on this material.
