trying as many guitars as possible

People recommend trying as many guitars as possible if one wants eventually to buy a guitar.
What people also say and I think this is true, is that usually luthiers build guitars on order and when you don't order it is hard to find luthier who has ready made guitars on hand in case somebody wants to buy.

Let's say luthier I found has three guitars on hand at the moment. This luthier has good reputation and his guitars are good quality. Price for new guitar is 4000 euros. I don't think it is easy to find new hand made guitar at the lower price these days. Is it worth travelling to spain and trying those guitars even if not sure if final purchase will be made ?

Remember the good ol days. 😂

I'll build you a guitar.

Or buy a cheap student model flamenco. play that for a couple of years learning the basics, whilst continuing your search for 'real flamenco guitar'

At your stage you don't need to be trying several guitars. You don't really have a clue about what you're playing, feeling, hearing etc.

In the meantime use the money you save buying a cheaper guitar, to get yourself to Andalucia and have a bowl of salmorejo to cool off.

I concur with Stu entirely.

Rafa, you are not listening. Give it up, mate. Seriously. Learn for a while before investing a sh*tload of cash on something you have no clue about. This is my last post on this subject because there is a limit to how often I, and others on here, will smash our heads on your brick wall. I think you are the kind of chap will will buy a Ferrari just to look at it getting dusty in the garage while asking all and sundry how you should drive it.

How was your face to face lesson?

Ok good, make the most of Sept and Oct then, get as many lessons with John as he suggests is appropriate. I doubt you could get a better start on your flamenco journey than having lessons with John Walsh. You will spend more time playing, much less time asking questions on here, and your money will be put to far better use than spending it all on an expensive guitar, which is also something you can ask John about.

Well done, please let us know how you get on!

False. Estebanana has one, I think I pointed you to it already.

His stage name is “Stephen” and his surname is “Faulk”, but not sure what his true identity is, perhaps Santos Conde de Reyes Ramirez Maria Arcangel III. These are for sale, but already you are too late for one of them since I pointed you to them, one having gone to a “dealer” who wants to rip you off (extra 40%, however, at this point since it is your fault, you should feel lucky to buy it since it saves you the translator fees). You still have a chance with the other:
