Micro Track 24/96

Hi,

Any one own a M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96?
I bought one a month ago [final price $349]. One problem I run into is the battery.
I charge it full, turn off the MicroTrack, let it sit there for 2 days. The battery is completely drained. I could not turn the sucker on because no juice. I have to plug the charger on to see the screen display. I've tried the same thing twice to verify it.
I realize the battery would loose charge gradually even without using it, but not 48 hours!!!

Any owner experience the same problem and what needs to be done?
Thanks
Dave

you kept it on for 48hrs?!?..why would it last that long? no recording would be that long.

I bought a yamaha QY 100 sequencer 5 years ago. i figure i use batteries untill i could afford the adapter.
I tell you man. the batteries went dead and draied after 2min. 6 of them!!
Borrowed some cash and got the adapter the same day.

NO...
I turned the unit off and did not use it at all for 2 days. Even then the battery went dead after 2days.

I have one and have not had a major problem. It is hard on the batteries, so I just leave it plugged into the charger if I am recording at home.
