Hannabach super low tension

I can vouch for these strings! Far better than the various D'Adarrio strings I've been using over the years. I have the Hannabach SLTs on a 1-year-old Conde Crespo and am impressed every time I pick up the instrument (—the instrument itself being otherworldly to my ears).

Are they really far better than D'Addario? I really like the EJ45/46/ FF and Nylons. Never had any issues with them.

Can you explain why they are far better please? I might try them if I'm convinced. Which SLT set are you using?

I’m curious to ! Do you lose sound or volume because they are super low tension?

Ok, so with no response from Bahen I bought some basses to try anyway, although normal tension.

They seemed decent initially and settled in quickly, but I broke the D and A when stretching them in about 10 minutes later. Never had that happen with D'Addario so I put a new set of EJ45 on which is my usual set, they feel and sound good to me. I'll stick with D'Addario.

Apologies, I was on holiday and only saw your question now. I guess you tried them and they didn't impress (too bad they snapped). I find that the sound is sweeter and clearer on the trebles than the EJ45/46 I used to use, and the basses are more profound, fuller, etc. No doubt strings sound different on different instruments. Mine is a new Conde, blanca.

Edit: Here is the link for the SLTs I purchased:
