In the past Devilhand has made unusual assertions about rhythm that show him to be novice level. Here he is only stating an opinion about bordem. The argument is only about what is boring or not.

not only stating an opinion about boredom, but first apparently not understanding why Guillermo says it's boring, because "it's not telling anything, there's no storytelling", and second he (devilhand) was also claiming that the accent grouping which Guillermo goes on to say we need to add to the click is there already because our brains supply it. But if our brains supply it then it's not there already!

In the end, my point that seems to have been missed in this thread is that “rhythm guitar patterns” are not the same as “rhythm” or even “rhythm patterns”, in other words the video posted is not relevant.

I would apologise for distracting attention from your videos you posted, except that in this case the OP posted the video that we now seem to be discussing my reaction to devilhands reaction to.... so blame rafapak from diverting attention from your posting the videos he asked for...

Psychology and neorology. A fusion of psychology and music is called music psychology. It's a relatively experimental field of research.

Do you mean neurology? Or is neorology a new field of study?

I have no idea what this is about, but no, don't worry, don't try to explain, actually I changed my mind, I just don't want to know anything about it.

Oliver Sacks wrote a book called ‘Musicophillia’ which is his look at how the brain works with music. I tried reading it several years ago, but some distractions came up and I never finished it. It’s based on neurological research of the effects of music on the brain and how that affects human behavior.
