Esteve 8F

Hello everybody,

What do you think about the Esteve 8F? Sound is loud and brilliant but I struggle a bit to play fast and I feel like is more difficult to play. I also have an entry level Yamaha cg182sf and I can play faster and easier... Even a 50€ classical guitar is easier (sound awful of course). I' m using Knobloch Medium Tension Luna Flamenca.

Thanks in advance😬

RE: Esteve 8F (in reply to Jacopo81

I just received an Esteve 8F that I ordered a little over a week ago. The action and playability of mine is excellent, but it was set up by the dealer I purchased it from. Has yours been set up properly?

I also have the Yamaha like yours (mine's the older cg171sf) and I have set it up for maximum playability so they are about the same in that regard. The tone and clarity of the Esteve is much better to my ears, however, especially the trebles, as is the projection. I am still in the 10-day trial period on the purchase and have definitely decided it's a keeper.

My interest in the Esteve 8F came about after I found a local great deal on a 1997 Esteve 1GR08 classical guitar and bought it a few months ago. It is equivalent to the newer Esteve 8 and 8F in materials and build quality. I know they are factory guitars but I'm impressed with the quality and sound of both instruments.
