Mike Figgis Flamenco documentary

Hi, does anyone have the documentary titled "Flamenco" by Mike Figgis? I saw it years ago on VHS. A reduced version was released in 1997 under the title "Flamenco Women," focusing on the dancer Eva la Yerbaguena. The first 30 minutes or so of the original film were removed for this 1997 release. It's this first 30 minutes that I'm interested in, for a project on the history of flamenco.

The parts of interest in the 30-minute segment are Spanish peasants/farmers (i.e., non-professionals) performing fandangos, and a sequence where several singers (also amateurs, they look like) sit lined up on chairs against a wall with a single guitarist and go down the line singing a solea.

Flamenco Women is the only version I ever saw. What you are looking for is probably also the type of thing shown in Rito y Geografia, several episodes have that type of scene you describe. While looking for your request I came across this from about the same time period. I found the first 5 minutes fascinating as you have no idea how many times I have heard the nonsense argument that the gitanos do NOT count the compas.

. But this entire doc is one of the best I have seen.

Interesting documentary with lots of historical materials. For example young Paco at 31:07.
