Hi am looking at a mail order guitar from 1995 made by Valeriano Bernal but its 1800 euros, it has cedar top and cyprus three piece back does this seem a fair price ?

Probably not a fair price. People can argue that in 1995 Valeriano was still in charge. But typically these go second hand for between €500-€1000, unless it's a dealer over charging. The 3 piece back were typically on lower end Bernal, from your description it could be the 'sueno' model. Can you post a photo or link?
Search the foro for 'Bernal Sueno'. You'll see a few sold on this forum in the 500-1000 price range.
Or could be 'Buleria' here's a 2004 Rafa signed that sold a few years ago for £500.

depends on the model.
Bottom-of-the-range "Prodigio" new price is 900 Euros.
The "Duende" model is 5000 Euros new.
(The old "Al Andalus" model new price was 6,000 Euros)
I have a Prodigio, which is my knock-about/travelling guitar.
It has a 2 piece back (but the two pieces don't match! )

Thanks for the reply Orson I had another look at that guitar it looks like the golpeador is through to the wood it still sounds very very good. I had a look at the Bernal site they make a nice flamenco guitar for about 1600 euros from the factory in Madrid which might be an option for me i need to research options in that price range. https://www.vintage-guitar-world.com/shop/valeriano-bernal-flamenco-1995/
the headstock of that guitar doesn't look like either of the Bernal headstocks I am familiar with.
The Prodigio is different, and so is their standard headstock for most of the other models I have seen.
If I was you I would contact Bernal and send them the pics and ask if it is even one of theirs.
Also you could contact the seller and ask for a pic of the label, which might clarify things a bit...
you could also find an old post of Pimientito here (try the Paco de Lucia discography thread) and email him, he might know as he used to sell Bernal guitars.

As you say not the standard headstock shape, which then gets added carving on the more expensive models. As you say Prodigio headstock is different again. And the model Sueno has yet another headstock. This 1995 headstock looks like a Bernal Sueno I used to own. Sueno is also three piece back and cedar top and €900 when new, they don't make it anymore.
Here's another Sueno headstock for comparison. Perhaps the 1995 is a previous iteration? The 1995 label says model 'F'.
