My Goldberg Variations project

Hey Everyone,
Long time no see...
I've started arranging Bach's Goldberg Variations for 2,3 & 4 guitars a number of months ago and recording them to video.
I have 24 out of the 30 variations done so far.
Here is a playlist of them. Maybe some of you will enjoy them!
All the best,
John

Great job man!

But come on, you gotta try it on ONE guitar!!!

I used to do this on two guitars, obviously much faster:

Josef Eötvös has recorded them, apparently on one guitar. Seems pretty good to me:

Thanks Ricardo! Haha no I am doing this for my own amusement but while I'm at it I want it to be for musical reasons.
These Goldbergs lose too much for me when done on one guitar.
Great stuff btw in the WTC!

Thanks for posting here John, unlike Erik i didn't know you were posting these videos on youtube...

did you (or anyone else) know Pepe Justicia has released an album of some of the Goldenburgers, called "GOLDBERG EN FLAMENCO"? https://www.pepejusticia.es/en/product/goldberg-en-flamenco-cd/

Everyone's playing Bach. How about Joseph Haydn? Mozart's best friend and teacher of Beethoven. A recording of this masterpiece on 2 or more guitars would be awesome.
