Buleria Serrano Cepero

Morante made me discover Manuel Serrano. I've picked up the intro of this Buleria by Cepero. Can anyone tell me what kind of rasgueo he's doing at 50 seconds?

I think it's thumb up ami (down) thumb up, but not sure.

Yes that's what he's doing.
Nice buleria with lots of space. It's easy, but with Cepero the hammer-on and pull-off needs to be really accurate in timing.

I wasn't sure as the sound of his rasgueo was so full.

Yes, that's why I'm working on his style these days. Lots of space, "simple", but kind of hard though with these hammer-on and pull-offs.

Yes, it looks like P up AMI down. There must be other youtube videos with a better camera angle showing how young or old Cepero do this type of rasgeo. If I find one I'll post it here.

Everything was running smoothly for all of us. Easy to pick up. Not totally to the original speed but nearly.
And then...then... came the 1minute 20 second...thing, stuff. one of us got the notes, but the guy who moves fingers im is just way behind.
I thought about firing him, but we have strong unions here in my country. Gotta live with him! Damn!
