RE: How to play these harmonics (in reply to frhout)
Once you get to 7, 12 ,16, then with the left hand say index finger fret 7th fret again and play artificial harmonics at half the vibrating fretted length (sounds an octave about the B on 7th fret). Next fret with LH index the 12th fret and do the same at half the vibrating fretted; next fret with say 4th LH finger the 16th fret and do the same.
(Alternatively, do harmonics on open string B 5th fret; then open string E 5th fret harmonics; then fret first string at 4th fret and do harmonics at above 9th fret; this affords more precision because you just use the fret positions)
This gets you to as far as the note shown on tab as fret 28.
Then fret 7th fret and play artificial harmonics at above the 12th fret, thus sounding two octaves above 7th fret B, resulting in 'fret 31' note.
Last, fret 12th fret again and play artificial harmonics at above the 17th fret, thus sounding two octaves above 12th fret E, resulting in 'fret 36' note.
This works because doing harmonics at a distance of 5 frets above where a string is stopped (or the nut if open string) is a point at precisely a quarter of its vibrating length, thus sounding 2 octaves above fretted note.
So in terms of the left hand fretting, once you do 7, 12, 16, then it is 0 (2nd string), and then back on first string 0, 4, 7, 12.

Just keep going up the arpegio on the string using your ear as if you had more frets getting closer together. Pluck w/ right hand ring and touch fake frets with index. You don’t have to be perfect. At 16:41
