I had guitar lessons with Jose de Pura each time I came to Seville and have come to the La Carboneria to watch him perform with his group many times. During the Covid years 2020-2021 he fell on hard times and has moved to Murcia. On September 18, 2021 he texted me "Yo estoy en Murcia trabajando de camionero. Un abrazo fuerte."
