The future of foroflamenco

That had you worried

It's taken a few hours but I have managed to get some homegrown .NET code working on this site for the first time. This is from scratch and only a prototype, but I thought you might like to see what our future could look like.

For example, wouldn't it be nice to see all the forum audio uploads in one place?

http://www.foroflamenco.com/dotnet/Report.aspx?mode=audio

or see all other documents that have been uploaded?

http://www.foroflamenco.com/dotnet/Report.aspx?mode=docs

There are some known issues e.g., the Hits count is unreliable.

.NET is so much faster than our current software, as you may well notice. This gives us total flexibility over new features and functions beyond a message board. Might be fun. Let me know what you think.

Simon;

Outstanding! That is what I had in mind. You could also do it for Tabs, etc. All that it takes is a lot of work and a lot of time, for starters!
