R.I.P. Craig Eros

He was Known as "C" here, and was a member since 2005.

I just found out that he passed away a year ago. I am gutted. I made him a book bound with his artwork a while ago.

This is him and the last "space art" he painted. So sorry it took a little time to remember you here. Forgive me.

Rest easy, Craig.

This was his avatar. Since 2005 he involved himself with us. I am really disappointed at the lack of response to his passing.

Since disabling Off Topic, I am learning a lot about the future of this place.

Sorry I joined much later so don't remember coming across him. Could you post a link to his profile so we can see his posts? - his nick "c" is impossible to search for.

DEP

Unfortunately I only had one or two short exchanges with him, so I can't say that I knew him really. Condolences to his family and to those here on the foro who were closer to him.

He was active before I joined the Foro so I never had the opportunity to talk with him, but I do remember some of the threads about his art.

Here are some links to his obituary:

Clearly, the Foro played an ongoing role for him, as he signed on and also posted here in the final days of his life.

Rest In Peace, Craig.

Simon, it is apparent your relationship with Craig extended beyond the Foro, and that you considered him to be a friend. In light of that, please accept my condolences, as well.

Thanks, stick around here long enough and you all become my friends

Thank you both. Now I remember over the last few years coming across some of these posts - words of appreciation for what someone has posted or of encouragement.

RIP, C.

Sorry for your loss, Simon. I remember seeing his avatar in a lot of threads years ago.

He was certainly a positive contributor. I feel foro traffic is very slow since this summer, but it will pick up eventually.

In this thread he shared a whole bunch of his work:

I am so sorry that Craig has passed away.
Im looking at some of his posts and painting he posted here, really great work. I especially like the one with the northern lights and the other winter scenery.

Sorry to hear this! I don't remember interacting with him on here but he seemed like a lovely guy and his paintings are fantastic.
