A question for the wood connaisseur

Hi all, a friend of mine bought a Devoe with a top of “Canadian Ceder”.
Is that ceder wood from Canada, or, Red Ceder?

I would expect they’re the same. Same as the wood used by Ramirez.

I believe 'Cedro Canadiense' is the Spanish term for what we call Western Red Cedar. It's all thuja plicata.
