Hello,

I joined some months ago and figured it was time to go public. I started with stringed instruments doing repairs, mostly on American steel string guitars, around 1975. I was lucky enough to eke out a meager living to get through school, then started working in Silicon Valley until the early 90s. I moved up to Eastern Washington and started building guitars in 2005. 30 steel string guitars later, I decided to build a classical guitar just for the experience, and orders for classicals started coming in. I found the foro forum and being a fan of small fora, here I am. A flamenco is in my not too distant future.

Pat

Welcome Pat, you'll get plenty of advice here in your endeavour. I am just starting out on making electric guitars. I have certain criteria for an older blues style and hope to sell them one day.

I worked for Apple in the early 90's so visited San Jose and Cupertino many times. Then I worked for Microsoft and it was Seattle (Redmond).
