The first bulerias falseta is 60% like this one I tabed. Nice collection. Its very interesting to see how he plays the granaina of gerardo nunez. Ok,.. I trust him that he tabed it by himself. Its very different to Gerardos original fingering,..but the same granaina.. amazing.^^ I like this collection. Many usefull things.
no problemos, feel free to add to the collection if you want, im hoping for even just a handful of people to submit stuff so the material is more varied.
is it the actual site that wont load or the tab files? if its the tab files you need acrobat reader, they are in pdf format. acrobat can be downloaded from the site. if its the web site, im at a loss...maybe the host was down, it should be fine though.
THANK YOU!! Now I can try doing something more than just chording compas! I've just been strumming chords to tangos, bulerias and guajiras with barely any falsetas all this while. Maybe now I'll have something new..
And maybe someday I'll have something to upload too.
Very nice site. I really like the Solea tabs. Your playing is very nice and clean.
One suggestion. It would help a bunch to add right hand fingering on your tab. I briefly looked at the Solea tabs (arpeggios) and could see they could be played with thumb strokes or not. I can work through them and figure out how you are playing them, but it would be nice to have the fingerings.
RE: free flamenco guitar tab (in reply to Patrick)
Hello Patrick, thanks for the nice words! i sort of rushed through a whole heap of falsetas when i was writing them out and doing the audio just to get a bit of content up.i thought it might get too messy with the r/hand written above everything seens its handwritten, my handwritting is far from neat (and im a bit lazy). i should really try to use software to write it up. ill give the r/hand some thought.. cheers Dominic
Hello Skai, im glad you have found some useful material. most of the falsetas are dance orientated, and can be used to accompany dance(thats why i learnt a lot of them). i have found it useful to have lots of little falsetas that you can rip out just for a compass or two, as opposed to launching into a long winded guitar solo thats going to take ages.
gtrr66@msn.com, its good you finally got onto the site, i was getting worried aanet was giving up the ghost! i scoured the internet for gifs for ages to build up those graphics, that was boring. but putting it together was good fun, i used some pretty dated software, trellix, i dont think theyre even in business anymore. im looking into dreamweaver, do you know what software people are using these days?
nice site ,checked the site ...checked the bulerias falsetas that are pretty cool. Now I tried to play the first Tomatito falseta but somehow it sounds a little differrent playing from the tab compared to your mp3 .It's minor but please help cause I think at some bar there is a note or two that are missing from the tab, note that i hear it on your mp3.
take a look in the tab at the bar 11 and twelve .
U have -----------|-------- ------5p3--|-------- ------5----|--5p3- -----------|-------- --0--------|------- -----------|-------
But I hear smth like --------------|-------- ------3h5p3--|-------- ------5-------|--5p3- --------------|-------- --0-----------|------- --------------|-------
U'll think i'm a maniac , but i got to know how u play it in the mp3 ,cause the mp3 sounds better ...for me .
RE: free flamenco guitar tab (in reply to sorin popovici)
Hello Sorin, classic tomatito buleria, yourve gotta love it! i went through the tab, im pretty sure theyre the notes. mabye youre phrasing is different. i played it the way you thought it was and it sounds just as good, it adds more interest to that part.
I recently posted that I've gotten too dependent on and too distracted by tabs, and I'm not going to look at any for the next 2 months. Then you come along with this great idea for a website.
The quality of your recordings is excellent. What kind of recording equipment are you using? Also, can I upload tabs in Guitar Pro format?
Hello Phil, thanks for the reply. i hadnt even thought of guitar pro format, its a good idea because theyre fairly small files. ill make a section for those types of files(gp and tef) send it in dude and ill post it! i record on a pc. i use a rhode nt3 condensor mic through a mixing desk into the pc. my sound card is 24 bit and supports all the main drivers like asio, mme etc. as far as software goes im still using cool edit pro which is pretty dated now but i know my way around it and a lot of the main programs used these days, like cakewalk and the like look fairly complex to learn. im glad you enjoyed the site, all the best.
try adobe audition .Cool edit as I understood doesnt exist anymore....Adobe bought this soft and renamed it Adobe Audition.U'll find your way through adobe audition if u already know cool edit.
RE: free flamenco guitar tab-updated... (in reply to Guest)
have a small problem, am interested in the solea tabs, but when I try and open them, whether I key onthem or save them, I get a msg that says "made with an un authorized version of tabledit" and it wont open. suggestions?
RE: free flamenco guitar tab-updated... (in reply to rick)
Try using a demo version maybe? Ive built up these files over many years so i cant be sure of their origins, some may have been written on older versions of table edit i dont know if the new versions of table edit are backwards compatable but you would think they are. But what i can say is most of them worked when i opened them up and when i find one that doesnt i delete it. Let me know how you get on.
