I recently got into those "Fiesta por Bulerias" (is that the right term?). I mean the type of fiesta where they sit with a few singers, 1-2 guitars and make a long bulerías session. I've noticed those helped me the most to get a grasp on bulerías guitar playing and to really understand the compás.

It’s basically how we learned with Gerardo nuñez in sanlucar. Fiesta por buleria every night. Here is a short clip in his backyard, I’m closest guitar, or facing us I am on left, the other is Manuel Valencia (right) and Gerardo (Center). The singer is Jesus Mendez.
After some hours of that one night after midnight we headed down to the beach and it was a concert of Manolo Sanlucar. At the end, 3-4am, fiesta. That’s jose merce singing first then Arcangel
