Hi all, Can anyone kindly recommend to me some teaching flamenco guitar dvd / video and book, for learning good flamenco guitar technique please? (I'm probably now an 'intermediate' player.)
I heard that there was a Gerardo Nunez dvd, for instance, but don't know the title or details to order it. Any similarly good ones would be interesting please ?
(I already have Graf Martinez and Juan Martin dvd's)
RE: Flamenco Technique videos / Dvd ... (in reply to davidj)
I think you're referring to the Gerardo Nunez Encuentro DVD? You can find it several places, but there are a couple of members here who have it for sale on their website (TA Nunez & _Ramin).
It would be easier to make a recomendation if people knew what direction you wanted to take your playing. You already have the 2 DVDs that I would have recommended (GM & JM). I've been working on these DVDs for several months, but I'm a slow learner.
I was thinking about buying Moraito's Encuentro DVD, but then I was turned on to Diego del Gastor's music. Needless to say, i will probably be working on some of Gastor's music when I'm ready - I tend to favor the traditional sound.
