Excellent documentary. I had the pleasure of meeting and watching Alvaro at work this July in Sanlucar, fantastic player. And Amparo I have accompanied dozens of times here in USA. She and her sister Raquel, who dances, are from Malaga, relatives of Repompa.

Thanks for posting this. It’s beautifully filmed.
I really like Francesco Manuel Diaz, I visit his shop every time I am in Granada and last saw him in August. The film captures his character very well.
And the film was also a good introduction to Álvaro Martinete (for me). I notice he released an album last year, “Seis Veredas”, which is available on Apple music. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet, but I’m looking forward to doing so.
