I’m heading out to the NAMM show this week and was just wondering if anyone else on forum is going. Also I’m trying to see as many flamenco and classical players and equipment there as possible, any recommendations are welcome!!
Highlights, other than Pepe Fernandez and Jesus Montoya were: I saw performing George lynch and don dokken, Jeff Scott Soto sang “somebody get me a doctor” and I talked with him at Marriot bar, billy Sheehan, Alex Skolnick, Richie Kotzen, Corey Glover all kicking butt at the big NAMM jam, tried the Ramirez line ($10,000 blanca yikes!!!!), talked a lot with felipe conde jr with a mission to try his blanca, but he sold it before I could get to his hotel to try it, I performed at the VISESNUT booth, and finally made a new friend that has been on flamenco scene for a while, JOEY HEREDIA....actually he played drums on one of my all time favorite jazz fusion albums, FRank Gambale live at baked potato from 1988...saw Nita Strauss but was too shy to talk to that angel...talked to Tosin Abasi but missed his demo, had lunch with Ben Woods and Arleen and watched him kick butt at Godin booth, noticed Pepe Romero walking around...lots lots more.

Great pic. Nuno kinda looks like a metal version of Vicente. Sounds like an amazing time. Was Conde's daughter there too?
No, she cut her finger using some tool, had to get stitches and antibiotic which is free in spain so she wanted to go but was like “USA? Out of pocket healthcare? F that!”.
