It's 6 years since I've last been back in Spain, doing what i love. I've gone through a lot of crap in the past 6 years, having to deal with a divorce and my son being taken out of Ireland without my consent. All the while trying to hold down a full time job and complete my legal studies.
Some of the foro guys knew about it and I talked with RonM before he passed away as well as a number of other close flamenco friends who have been there in times of need. It's only with the divorce coming to its final conclusion, i'm begining to get back to rebuilding a life for me going forward with my son in it.
I'm looking forward to getting back to what I've always loved. Hopping on a plane tomorrow to Jerez, and cant wait to pick up the guitar to sit down and do some lessons with some of the guitarist's I admire the most. I've even organised a few singing lessons, cause its one of the things to do on the bucket list.
People have come and gone in my life over the past 6 years, some for the good and some for other reasons, but the guitar, La segunda mujere, as pedro cortes referred to it as, has been my constant companion and refuge when times got tough.
Planning to go the festival de Jerez, el curso de gerardo nunez in sanlucar and the fiesta de la buleria next year. Onwards and upwards
Will post some of the travel log updates, photos and Video Blogs along the way.

RE: 6 años sin verte y hoy mi coraz... (in reply to henrym3483)
My separation lead me to sell everything and move to Granada for 3 years. I kind of know what you have been through, though we didn't have kids. Still, it was very tough.
During my travels, I met Gina in Mexico, and concluded my divorce. We are still together.
