His son (Jose Canela) is good but not as his father...
Quite right. But Canela was still appearing in competitions at 50 years (I remember him in the Plaza de Toros de San Fernando, with a bright yellow jacket and blew away all of the other contestants, so he never had the recognicion he deserved.
His 3 sons are all flamenco and great palmeros, but José is the best singer. With the years, he could be as good as his father
