I couldn’t find any reference to him in the books by Luis F Leal - Guitarreros de Andalucía and Guitarreros de Madrid. Was there a place name on the label?

There are lots of guitar kicking around made by people who made only one or two guitars but had nice labels nevertheless. I remember going to a Pena in Ronda, closed during Holy Week, and meeting the manager who had made just two guitars – one for me to play and one for him on the tiny stage. He had no plans to make any more!

I once found a guitar for sale made by someone I knew years back He made about 30 flamenco guitars but died in the 1960s long before the Internet and disappeared without trace. At least I was able to provide the owner with some information.

hey rob, thank you so much for trying to find something. i just seen photos so far and couldnt read anything on the label (and there was no close up of the label), but is totally handwritten, so probably your right and the builder was a amateur. anyway the guitar looks well built. but i think i will not buy it, because its to far away from me to try out and the price is 1000 euros. I let you know, if i find out, whats on the label.
greetings,
ben

The only reference to Antonio Rivas, was, he was a black accordion player, like someone said
in a previous thread, he must be a unknown guitar maker, an armature.
