Wrong city for Flamenco mate... Just take the subway from São Sebastião station to Terreiro do Paço station and go to Alfama, there's a Fado place on every corner. And if you meet any pretty ladies don't forget to tell them your name!

Thank you guys for your replies.. we indeed went to see a fado show in Chiado... it was good ... just that i read about some flamencos happening in the city but weren't open during our stay in Lisbon... anyway, in Madrid now :) home sweet home
