There is a Facebook group for this forum but it gets spammed by this Guy Klein guy who uploads videos of him playing electric guitar in his underpants and (less bad) a guy who plays the oud. It would be nice if it could be revived but I'm not sure that it offers much for people who want to discuss guitar- the foro is a better platform for that. It is good for promoting events and things, and a good place to (sparingly)share videos.
Oh. That Guy guy! I haven't used Facebook for ages. As someone who doesn't play for cash or record all that often, I didn't have that much to promote on there. And on the receiving end, I've found that flamenco artists, at least the Spanish ones, are really bad at keeping their online presence up to date. The other day I went on Jose Manuel Leon's website and his concert schedule hadn't been updated since 2013...And he's one of the younger ones! Perhaps Facebook works best if you use as a way to bring in web users to a properly maintained website of your own?
