Just encase anyone has some cash left over after all your generous donations to Marks - A Scotsman Dreams of Flamenco campaign.
We have just been working with some awesome artists to plan a series of online courses. The first one is Compas 101 - a free online video course then Advanced Compas where we will dive deeper into palmas.
Now I know that most of you guys would already be all over compas so I'm not expecting any donations but if you could just help spread the word that would be great.
I also have to tell you that we have a series of choreograghies planned where guitarists, dancers and singers can view a full choreography and learn it in steps via an online course. Plus since many of you guys mentioned that cante accompaniment is something we could all work a little more on we have a massive course being planned as we speak.
(To be honest we actually have filmed the first choreography already but.... we aren't going to begin editing just yet. We will double check the footage and finish of 'Flamenco Compas Explained' first.)
We also have a private group where you can watch the progress of our projects if your interested, on Facebook BFlamenco.
RE: A real Crowdfunding Project (in reply to Fisch)
Looks good guys! Good luck with the project, I hope you get the support you need to get things going. I'm based in Málaga so if you are in the neighborhood let me know.
RE: A real Crowdfunding Project (in reply to Fisch)
This is the start of an exciting journey! I just backed Flamenco Compas Explained and look forward to the Compas courses. Fisch and Sabrina have an amazing array of ideas for upcoming choreography courses as well.
Please support them by spreading the word about their Kickstarter page !
Best wishes to Fisch and his team of Flamenco musicians, singers and dancers!
( PS--My new flamenco shoes arrived this week, ..........> I am ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Thanks Danza
I've just started editing some of the footage of Tamara and it looks great already. I can remember the first time I took classes in Spain with Jorge in Carmen de las Cuevas on compas, I was thinking what the hell do I need to learn to clap for.... little did I realise that it was the backbone of my Flamenco playing.
Please help us share the word to other flamenco students so they don't have to waste their time in Spain learning compas.
RE: A real Crowdfunding Project (in reply to Fisch)
Sorry I meant: Not wasting their time learning compas when they could be focusing on hundreds of other things: Falsetas, Ritmo, Dance Steps, Techniques, Playing for a Singer & Dancer.
We just want to give people a reference for things they can learn before coming to Spain, to make the most of their time here :)
