Well, I am actually practicing arpeggio pami and pimami and I have a problem when it comes to the D string. Since I must play apoyando, what do I do when playing the D string ? Do I put my thumb on the A string or do I let it free, while playing with ami/imami ?
Thank you :)
Edit : I did make some researches on the foro but couldn't find an answer...
RE: Arpeggio (apoyando) - what about... (in reply to flaco)
My thumb will usually sit and rest on A after I play on the E and sit and rest on D after I play on the A, but when I play on the D my thumb usually just touches the G and quickly moves back up to where it's; (A) comfortable, like the A string and (B) let's the D string ring and (C) gets out of the way so the G string can ring after I pluck it with my i finger.
