Question for Miguel de Maria

Hey mate

I been wondering about this for a few months and i am gonna ask rather then speculate

What has happen lately that i never ever ever see you in the Audio threads offering feedback or uploading your own music anymore ?

once upon a time u used to ?

but i can honestly say i have never seen your name in the Audio section this year ?

I am just curious man ? dont get me wrong u can do whatever you please i am not saying that you have to, and i dont wanna put you on the spot, i am just curious cause i remember a day when you used too.

Do you feel like u have to be Paco de Lucia before u upload again ?
Do you feel like youre not good enough or too good ?
Tell me Miguel

let me speculate no more.

I hope this post dosent come off as anything else other than what it is cause i dont mean to insinuate anything, i am just very curious and it is odd that i never ever ever see you in Audios

Hey, Flo! There are a couple of reasons...

1. I'm not a big fan of uploads to begin with. If you remember, I only started doing it because Ron kept goading me so I finally put a Soleares up so he would leave me alone.

2. Over a year ago, I got an injury to my middle finger which put my practice time to about 0. I still have to play gigs (over 100 last year), so I basically just played the same damn pieces and just tried to struggle through it. I tried to shield my middle finger so I reworked all of my pieces so they used ia. It's amazing how much you can do with only 3 fingers! You don't really need m that much. I studied classical theory and singing, etc. It's only finally starting to get back.

3. The computer I use does not have an audio card and it can't play videos. I can use my wife's computer in the office, but it's not very convenient.

4. My personal computer, which I use for recording and practicing and slowing down, etc., is no longer connected to the internet. So....even if I wanted to.

5. My playing sux! In some ways I have regressed in the last year, in some ways I have gotten a lot better. Like I said, I am only finally able to practice again, and it feels good!

6. I'll try to get over there and give you guys a listen again. I watched your video. Did you ever get a lamp? :)

Thanks mate, i must say first of all that your playing never sucked !!!

second i am relived, i tought it was me u hated my music so much that it put you off everyones audio :-)

second i wanna hear you i wanna see you i want your opinion on audios , i want it all man, but i dont wanna bug you about it :-)

OooOohh Suggestive.. Florian wants it all..

But anyway, it'll be nice to have you give feedback on some of the uploads as you seem to be one of the few around who 'know what the audience want'. Uploads of yourself would be great as well. Nevermind about using good recording equipment, your playing will show through all the fuzz.
