Info on Alhambra guitar model

Hello all

I am searching for some information on a guitar I have had for about 8 years.

It is an Alhambra guitar and the inside sticker says model 7F from 1982. The production number is 00545 i think (writing this email away from home).

Does anyone know this model from 1982? Is it a good quality flamenco guitar? How much would it be worth today? Any information about this guitar would be appreciated. I found this link on ebay, where is is sold for 1150 euros:

I have not been able to find more information about it. Does anyone know more about this guitar model?

Thank you very much,

Ulrik Christiansen

the 7F is a factory made guitar and like most factory guitars it is probably an ok guitar--most are ok, a few better than ok and a lot less than ok. the guitar in question (the one on ebay via the link you provided) is old and for the money not a good deal. a new one sold today in the u.s.a. costs roughly $1800 (1415 erros) which is only 265 euros more than the one you mention.

as for the description--yes the guitar is 32 years older than a 2014 model and maybe the woods are 32 years drier than a 2014 model but the woods could be cracked, the woods over humidified, the neck angle changed resulting in higher action, the frets worn, etc. the guitar is 32 years old and subject to all the things that can occur over 32 years. even if the guitar was in perfect condition i think the price is much too high. just my opinion.

Hi, the Alhambra 7F is a good, factory made, student guitar. In good condition it would probably be worth around 500 euros.

In Spain you can find good state current Alhambras 7F for less than 400€. Brands, even with handcrafted guitars, are only illustrative. Alhambra usually has a good factory-made quality, but do not buy a guitar without check his state personally and and, of course, his sound and your convenience on it.

And, as Anders Elliasson say, handmade is a dim concept.

A friend of mine sold a 1982 Alhambra 7F for just over £200 a year or so on ebay.

Not great all things considered.
