Help with a pinky slide!

I would really appreciate some help on how to do that pinky slide 7th to 5th. The piece is reflejo de luna, paco's granainas.

I cant get a smooth motion while sliding and my pinky pushes the two fingers on the 5th after sliding.

Any specific way to practice this?

It´s easier to play when lifting finger 1 at the 3rd fret while 4 is going to fret 7. Mayby your left thumb is not in the right position.

Best to study the video more.

A few things to note, firstly the Fsharp (of the B chord) is played with the LH index there is not barring during the whole section and I would guess his LH thumb is probably directly under his ring finger on the neck (and that means under the second string. Put your hand all the way there first then start reaching for the notes. If you try and play out of your normal position then you are stuffed, as would anyone be.

Rhythmic groupings in your edition are laughable.

D.

So Paco played to my description. See at 1:29 (or better from some seconds before).
