The Ramirez 130 year celebration guitars were made with either Red Cedar top or German Spruce top
I would have thought that new it would be around $2000 and a bit

No it doesn't make much sense to covert it to a negra, as it is not ... it is what it is
What would you do? lower the action slightly, put golpeador on it..? you wouldnt be changing the width or size of the guitar or anything drastic anyway...

IMO its like making a cement mixer into a washing machine ... clean it out , put in soap, water, throw your clothes in , and switch on ... surely its the same thing ....???...right ?/

I would suggest if you gonna play flamenco , get a flamenco guitar
you could get a one made for not much more and get exactly what you wanted depending ... I was just , before this post looking at Ethan Deutsch recent ly made guitars ... they look good , would love to get one...

i suspect the 130 anos is a good classical guitar but as a negra i would hesitant to go that route. kremona makes some nice guitars, one which is a negra that is pretty good--i have test driven a couple. they make two negras--the rosa and the morena. they also make two "quasi-blancas" the bella and diva. i say quasi-blanca as the bella is ash and the diva is oak. not sure how those woods work. x-guitars in north carolina sell kremona guitars are good people with whom to deal.

You only have to mesure it. Is the tapa close or far from the strings, what is the angle of the bridge, 12 fret and strings. If these are ok for flamenco, buy it. Otherwise no.

It's silver oak (Grevillea Robusta). Pretty 3D wood.

I have one with ebony fretboard, very nice guitar.

Have you considered the instrument Andy Culpepper is selling in the classifieds? I have his #4 blanca and its a great guitar and I suspect his #3 should be good as well, especially for the price he is asking. Here's the spec's as per his discription:

Top: Cedar
Back and sides: Indian Rosewood
Bindings: Snakewood
Neck/fingerboard: Spanish cedar/Ebony, reinforced with carbon fiber.
Finish: French polish
Tuners: Schaller
Scale length/nut width: 650/53

Just a thought...

I wouldn't buy it.

There's a Salvador Castillo under $2k in the classifieds that'd be my choice.
