I'm going on a short trip to Spain next month (Dec 4th-7th) with my wife. We'll be visiting (not a final list, but pretty close): Malaga, Jerez de la Frontera, Marbella (?), Cadiz (?), La Linea de la Concepcion.
I'm really interested in visiting a lutherie and seeing how our guitarras flamencas come to life. I'm not going to take much of anyone's time, and would not dare ask to try out an unfinished guitar without a golpeador. I am, however, lacking the funds to buy a guitar ...
If there are any luthiers here with workshops in either of those cities, that wouldn't mind a short visit, please let me know, I'd love to come

In Málaga a little bit outside is the Pedro Maldonado workshop that I think is now runned by his sons. Right in the city center is the shop Málaga Musical. In the 90th years this shop had 2 different entrences. There you´ll find some guitars by Pedro Blanco who is a phenomenal guitarist, skilled like sabicas.
You should find the shop and the workshop on the internet.

When I was there in 1994 - 1996 there were some flamenco guitars that he told me he made them. I remember to have seen a guitar around 1.500 € around the begining of this year at the shop. This guitar is presently not available, but there are 2 cheap guitars that I can imagine for having been made as OEM fabrication to put his own label on: http://www.malagamusical.com/producto/guitarra-pedro-blanco-600-profesional-cipres/
