Taranta on Bishop guitar
Made this video promo for my friend Max (who built this guitar) a while back at Toddk's studio. This is a short version of the taranta I will have on my album (someday! ). Anyway got inspired to post this after seeing those excellent Antonio Rey clips. The guitar is Lawson Cypress (curly port orford cedar) back and sides, and the smaller body style is a Santos plantilla. Got permission to post this even though max doesn't have a website up or anything. If you are interested you can contact him via the phone or email you see at the end. I warn he takes several months (5-6) to build something like this, and not sure what his pricing will be, he is not really a full time builder, this guitar is number 25. I made a video several months back with this same guitar doing bulerias outside. Really fun to play, very dry crisp sound. Enjoy.

RE: Taranta on Bishop guitar (in reply to Ricardo)
[continuing our last correspondence of more than a year ago, regarding Vicente Amigo's latest work...] You still have a lot to say as an artist, Ricardo, and can make any guitar say it for you.
I am impressed, but not surprised; this piece shows off your mature technique and your ever so youthful creativity, and composition style.
[Incidentally, I like how you use LaBella Red trebles for this guitar. I find them a bit dull compared to the luthier's plain nylon. But your influence is such that I am sure I will be restringing this weekend :-)]
