So I'm new to this whole flamenco thing... I've been a steel string guy for years and years, but just got the bug recently.
I'm in the market for my first guitar, and would REALLY appreciate any advice anyone has.
I'm a rabbi, and once a month I put together a group that plays hebrew liturgical psalms with a middle eastern / Mediterranean kind of sound (we have all sorts of odd instruments).
I've been playing steel string (mostly baritone), but I think that a flamenco guitar would be an improvement for the group. If anyone has a recommendation for something good and used, it would be really appreciated! I was looking at perhaps a Cordoba 75f, but I'm open to anything...

Welcome to the foro!
In what part of central Illinois are you located?
I have not played a Cordoba, but I've seen professional players here recommend them on occasion. As you might expect, the question of what guitar to buy is frequently asked by players new to flamenco. You might want to search through the past threads, as this question's come up quite a bit.
