Goodbye

I had resolved to not read any replies to my thread about "Insults on the Foro," and I stuck to that resolve - I have not read one single one, because I knew what to expect.

I just now scrolled down past everything straight to Simon's final post on that thread, and I see he locked the thread, from which I gather my assumptions were correct.

If that is in fact the case, then I don't care to participate any more on the Foro.

To all fair minded members, I wish you the best.

Ramon

Ramon, you really should read it before jumping to conclusions..
Simon locked the thread, with good intentions towards you.

RE: Goodbye (in reply to Ramon Amira

His thread essentially was asking Simon to turn this place into delcamp.flamenco.com. No thanks.

Allow me to submit that, just sometimes--what is said to us is deserved. If we talk a big game, and drop multiple times that we've been playing for 40 years without ever demonstrating any expertise or helping much, and our posts are dripping with self-importance, maybe we should expect to get a little blowback from that. And if we don't bother to reply to other posters (or even read our own threads!?), then I submit--we are getting what we deserve.

Please don't take this as me agreeing with kudo. The next time he posts something intelligent will be the first. Sorry, Simon...

Agreed. ^

Ramon, stay with us.
Where would you want to limit yourself to, and would that place / way of dealing be productive?

Reality is not all smooth and thus neither should all conversation be slick. Rough edges belong to life.
When you find yourself NOT listening to / NOT reading something, consider that you may be missing out on something, and that blinkers cannot be of advantage to sober perception.

It would be beneficial to society if we cared more about quality of contents than about quality of packaging. So, stay and let us learn how to do.
